In 1994 Josh was designing t-shirt graphics in the high school computer lab and selling them to local shops in his hometown of Virginia Beach. He went on to study graphic design in Atlanta, Georgia where he helped create Frank 151 magazine. Josh continued to freelance for advertising agencies in Atlanta and helped to develop campaigns for Coca-Cola and Sprite.
After moving back to Virginia Beach, Josh worked as a package designer at Swimways while also doing apparel graphics for Shmack Clothing company. For 7 years Josh taught high school graphic design, photography, and video until he decided to open up his own shop and run Malbon Creative full time.
Today Josh draws from over 20 years of experience to develop creative solutions for local and national brands.
